• This is set in the same world as Best Laid Plans and The Feel Good Factor and it is Shaw and Vanessa's story! These two have been circling each other since their teen years, but they never admitted it. And his sister and her best friend, Perri, had forbidden Shaw from pursuing Vanessa. Girl code, Brother code, and all that jazz just left these two longing in secret...well sort of secret. But love is in the air with this group, and there are matchmakers ready to stir some things up in town.
  
  Shaw is is goofy, outgoing, charming, sexy, and has a rep as a ladies' man. But he also has a stressful and serious job as a firefighter. Vanessa is a retro fashion diva and bowling alley owner. She's fun, sweet, and loves to laugh. They have been friends forever, but both have been afraid to push for more.
  
  Is it finally their time to get together and face the consequences, or will a new guy in town steal her away? This is a fun, sexy, sweet, and swoony best-friend's-brother romance. There were some little twists, but not much angst. I enjoyed more with Arden and Gabe, Perri and Derek, and Ella from the other books, but this can be read as a stand alone. I love this dynamic group and the way the author weaves in text messages in this one. This novella just made me smile, and it really felt like a full story and tied up the series as well.

  This was a sweet, low drama, and sexy best friend's brother novella. We previously met the hero and heroine, Shaw and Vanessa, in Best Laid Plans and The Feel Good Factor, but this novella can be enjoyed as a stand alone as well.
  
  Nobody Does it Better is on the shorter side since it's a novella, but it has all the things I love about Lauren Blakely's books - laugh out loud humor, fantastic characters, and yummy sexy times! ;) Vanessa and Shaw had such scorching chemistry! I also appreciated that there wasn't a lot of angst or drama. It let the story really focus on the connection between Shaw and Vanessa. The addition of the Book Club Ladies was a hoot and I loved the extra bit of fun they added to the story.
  
  One of my favorite parts of the entire Lucky in Love series, is the friendship between the three leading ladies. Arden, Perri, and Vanessa are so supportive of each other and I love that they will each drop everything they're doing to be there for their friend. I really enjoyed the little cameos and glimpses into the future for the characters in the previous books. This was the perfect way to end the series!
• Nobody Does It Better is the third book, a novella, in the Lucky in Love series and follows Best Laid Plans and The Feel Good Factor. While there is definitely enough here for it to stand on its own, I highly recommend reading Best Laid Plans and The Feel Good Factor before reading this because not only are they wonderful stories that no Blakely fan should miss, but also reading them first will totally ramp up anticipation for this book. I was certainly looking forward to Shaw and Vanessa’s story since meeting them in those books because their chemistry positively crackled off the page!
  
  Nobody Does It Better was an easy-breezy, sweetly sexy, sister’s-best-friend romance. Witty and quick back-and-forth banter, the kind born of a long, shared history and deep affection, set the tone for this couple as they verbally sparred in the best of ways. Packed with lust and laughter, Lauren layered in just enough tension to keep me on my toes while delivering the satisfaction quickly as years of pent-up, mutual, not-so-secret longing was finally given the time, the space and the will to be explored. I loved everything about this series, especially the quirky, interesting and in-your-business side characters of Lucky Falls. I might have even detected a few breadcrumbs for a future story that sent me straight to Goodreads to update my to-be-read shelf.
  
  Lauren Blakely brings the heat, the humor and the heart in this endearing, entertaining and wholly enjoyable friends-to-lovers romantic comedy. Five smooches from me for Nobody Does It Better by Lauren Blakely!
• This the third book in the ‘Lucky In Love’ series by Lauren Blakely. It’s a fast paced novella about Shaw Keating, a sexy as sin firefighter and Venessa Marquez, owner of Pin Up Lanes, a retro bowling alley. If you’ve read the previous books in this fabulous series (and if not, get on that, stat! You’re missing out on some serious goodness!!) then you know about the attraction these two share. Even as secondary characters the burned brightly, nut now?? As the central characters they are blisteringly HAWT, I mean scorching. The chemistry, the banter, the flirty looks and yeah… the history, it’s all just right there.
  Vanessa and Shaw have had a thing for each other since their high school years, but it’s gone unrequited and mostly ignored for nearly two decades thanks to Perri (best friend of Vanessa, and Shaw’s sister) forbidding it from happening.
  But, one snowy night; one mountain cabin and things are about to change. Will it go the way the two heart hungry souls want or will a wrench be thrown in the works. Read it and find out.
  This was a fabulous, sweet and sexy read with absolutely no angst. My only complaint… it finished too soon, I wanted much more from these two characters. But, whether it’s a novella or a full length book, Lauren couldn’t have picked a better title, for her writing and this particular book’s name. `Nobody Does It Better.
